Introduce a fluffy, fuzzy, knit, and/or velvety assortment of cozy pillows, in various sizes and textures. Select colors that vibe with the room’s palette. Blend pillows like a pro by using groupings of 3 pillows with different sizes, shapes, colors, patterns, & textures.
Some of my favorite cozy textures are:
- Velvet
- Boucle
- Shearling
- Faux Mongolian Fur
- Faux Rabbit Fur
- Chenille
🌈 Plush Throw Blankets:
Grace your sofas, chairs, and even the floor with the embrace of plush throw blankets, forming a cocoon of warmth. Opt for a magical mix of textures—think chunky knits, faux fur, and soft cotton—casting a spell of comfort that caters to every family member’s unique preferences.
🌿 Layer Faux Fur/Faux Hide Rugs:
Craft a cozy foundation by layering faux fur or faux hide rugs, creating warmth underfoot and adding a layer of comfort to your eclectic space. Faux hides are my favorite, you can grab one with a pop of metallic flecks in it for some extra shine.
🌟 Add a Warm Glow with Low Lighting:
Install glowing low-lighting fixtures that cast a spell of soothing warmth throughout the room. Place floor lamps, flicker candles, and candle warmers strategically. The gentle glow not only warms the space but also beckons with an invitation to a realm of relaxed and inviting ambiance.
