Are you looking for a solution for all that clutter that seems to accumulate in your home by the end of each and every day? Well, look no further friends, my favorite solution to this problem as a Mama of two and Interior Design business owner is BASKETS. YES, BASKETS! Keep a large beautiful woven basket of some sort near the stairs on each level of your home. Et Viola! You have a place to put all the things at the end of each day that don’t below there. Each weekend, or whenever you have time that week take your gorgeous basket up/down the stairs to put things away. It’s not only aesthetically pleasing to have items off of surfaces and into a beautiful/temporary place until you can move them back to their home, it is also the simplest way I have found to declutter your space each day and wake up to a fresh space!

PS… Don’t forget to make sure your amazing basket has handles! Believe me, if you are walking past it and see the handle you are more likely to grab it!
Oh and Happy soon-to-be Mother’s Day! Grab your mom a basket and fill it with her favorite things, like… a cozy throw, fuzzy slippers, a fun pillow, a coffee mug, her fav chocolates, a sweet candid family photo, and don’t forget a sweet note!
